LAUNCH THE PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY INTERACTIVE CAMPUS MAP

CampusTours Project Details
  • Photorealistic Campus Map Creation
CampusTours conducted aerial photography shoots of Philadelphia University and worked closely with the institution to create an angle that depicted the Philadelphia University campus in proportion to the Philadelphia city skyline. The resulting photorealistic three dimensional map will be used by Philadelphia University in print and on the Web.

  •
  • Content-managed Interactive Map System (CIMS)
Allows Philadelphia University to update or replace the base campus map artwork, define map hotspots, place icons and map layers, and to integrate video, narration, music, panoramas, text, links and animated still photographs into any section of the interactive map.

  •
  • Buildings List & Search Functions
Organizing buildings into readily identifiable categories allows students to find locations even when they are not already familiar with the campus. Instead of forcing students to click around to find the admissions office, Admissions is readily available from the categorical menu, and the Related Links provide access to other admissions related materials.

  •
  • Content-managed Map Layers
Layers allow Philadelphia University to place customized icons or highlights on the map to show information ranging from student parking areas to visitor parking to emergency call boxes.

  •
  • Accessibility Tags
Accessibility tags within the content management system allow for precise tagging of all tour graphical items and content allowing them to be rendered to screen reader equipped users through the Flash Acessibility Object.

  •
  • Dynamic Branding Capabilities
Gives Philadelphia University freedom to change the interactive map branding in lockstep with institutional identity updates. New logos, and taglines can be inserted at any time to keep the maps consistent with new branding initiatives.

  •
  • Content Managed Calls To Action
Allows Philadelphia University to control persistent calls to action, the text that represents them, the locations to which they link and the creation of new calls to action.
