CampusTours Project Details
  • Content-managed Interactive Map System (CIMS)
Allows Lehigh to update or replace any of the three Lehigh campus maps, and to integrate video, narration, music, panoramas, text, links and animated still photographs into any section of the presentation.

  • Multiple Campus Maps
The CampusTours Multi-Campus CIMS implementation supports multiple campus maps, and provides an index of all map locations for quick searching or direct access.

  • Buildings, Topics & Search Functions
Drawing careful delineation between building and topical content gives Lehigh the ability to provide quick access to building videos, photos and information from the map, while providing links to relevant topics or departments for more specific presentations.

  • Content-managed Map Layers
Layers allow Lehigh to create customized icons and highlights that can be laid over any of the campus maps to show information ranging from parking areas to handicapped accessible entrances to emergency call boxes.

  • Accessibility Tags
Accessibility tags within the content management system allow for precise tagging of all tour graphical items and content, for rendering to users with appropriately equipped screen readers.

  • Dynamic Branding Capabilities
Gives Lehigh freedom to change the interactive map branding in lockstep with institutional identity updates. New logos, and taglines can be inserted at any time to keep the maps consistent with new branding initiatives.

  • Content Managed Calls To Action
Allows Lehigh to control persistent calls to action, the text that represents them, the locations to which they link and the creation of new calls to action.

  • Burn To CD-ROM
Burn to CD-ROM capability permits Lehigh to burn the entire presentation (or variations on the presentation) to cross-platform CD-ROM or create a cross-platform ISO disk image for large runs of CDs.
