CampusTours was founded by Chris Carson in 1997 as a way for students to take virtual tours of hundreds of colleges and universities. In 2001 CampusTours began building virtual tours for colleges and universities, and has since grown to become the largest provider of virtual and video tour and interactive map services to the academic, non-profit and government markets.
CampusTours develops cutting-edge online presentations backed with advanced content management software that puts clients in direct control of their multimedia. With more than one hundred completed presentations, CampusTours has developed a reputation for institutional storytelling through creative and compelling multimedia. Today the virtual tour is often the initial point of contact for first time site visitors, and CampusTours ensures that these vital first impressions achieve a tone that reflects each institution’s unique personality.
